Habitat For Humanity

We are pleased to launch our faith partnership with Habitat For Humanity (HFH). This initiative brings together two great ministries that are faithfully servicing our needy communities in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties.

NOEFC will be supporting these communities in various ways:

FAITH BUILD (NEW HOMES): Great faith groups like NOEFC will be asking for volunteers to work side by side with HFH’s full-time staff to help with various projects in these new homes. We welcome volunteers with no skill sets- if volunteers have any general construction experience that is always great.
  • NOEFC’s designated Faith Build Days will be on June 12, Aug 9 and Oct 4th. 9:00AM-4:00PM. We are looking for 16 volunteers for each date. You can volunteer for multiple events (must be 18 yrs or older)

SPRUCE UP DAY: many community groups will be helping on this date with various projects that include helping Habitat homeowners and existing homeowners with needed exterior home repairs, landscaping, and debris removal. Our Youth team, as part of their Life Weekend, will be potting plants for us to donate and distribute to homeowners as well.
  • NOEFC’s Spruce Up Day is on May 17th. 9:00AM-4:00PM. We are looking for 24 volunteers (must be 16 yrs or older)
